Taylor Swift to speak about ‘All Too Well' at Toronto Film Festival
On September 9 in Toronto, the legendary singer-songwriter will also present a 35mm showing of "All Too Well: The Short Film."
Swift wrote and directed the short film All Too Well: The Short Film, which is based on her song "All Too Well," which shows a young man and woman who fall in love but later grow apart.
Along with Sadie Sink and Dylan O'Brien, Swift also makes an appearance in the short movie.
The 10-minute extended version of the song with the same name serves as the music for the short film.
Swift, who also directed the "Cardigan" and "Willow" music videos, said during a Tribeca Film Festival appearance that touched on her short film
"It felt very natural to extend writing a song and visualizing it in my head to making a shot list and storyboarding it and picking who we wanted as the head of each department and who would help put all of this puzzle together."
Swift gave the 10-minute version of "All Too Well" a live performance during her Tribeca presentation.
Whether that act will be duplicated in Toronto is unknown.
