'Scarier to Be a Woman' Support for Amber Heard from Emily Ratajkowski

Emily Ratajkowski, a supermodel, publicly backed actress Amber Heard as she enumerated all the reasons why being a woman in 2022 is "scarier."

Due to her public legal fight with her ex-husband Johnny Depp, Heard has received a lot of backlash on social media.

A Virginia jury awarded Depp $10 million in compensation damages and $5 million in punitive penalties during a defamation trial in June; Heard earned $2 million in compensatory damages.

Prior to her most recent TikTok video, Ratajkowski was one of several famous people who had publicly supported Heard on social media.

The model posted a six-second clip over the weekend with the statement, "It's 2022 and it's getting even SCARIER to be a woman."

"Roe v. Wade getting overturned, Harvey getting an appeal, Shia's Redemption Tour, the way y'all dragged Amber and the precedent that court case set," Ratajkowski wrote as she faced the camera with her head in her hand in the video.

"I'm not scared of [lions] and [tigers] and [bears]," she then lip syncs and writes onscreen.

Roe v. Wade, which had previously made abortion legal in the United States since 1972, was overruled by the Supreme Court in June.

In addition, Ratajkowski made a reference to Harvey Weinstein, a former film industry titan who is presently doing time in prison for several sex offenses.
