India a Police state – Modi a King – Rahul Gandhi says

Sonia Gandhi, the acting head of the Congress, visited the Enforcement Directorate's office in Delhi on Tuesday for the second round of questioning regarding the National Herald-money laundering case.

Rahul Gandhi was one of the Congress members detained during the protest against Sonia's ED questioning.

As part of the planned demonstration, Congress members marched from the Gandhi monument on the grounds of the Parliament toward Vijay Chowk.

Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Ranjeet Ranjan, KC Venugopal, Manickam Tagore, Imran Pratapgarhi, and K Suresh were among those who were imprisoned during the march.

Prior to being detained, Rahul asserted that it was against the law to have dialogues in the House of Representatives, where detainees were typically MPs who were indignant.

The Congress leadership has planned "satyagrahs" (peaceful marches) in the nation's capital and elsewhere in opposition to the interrogation.

The Delhi Police forbade the party from holding a demonstration at the Raj Ghat and implemented Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code in the region.
