Introduction to Tradestation Crypto

In this article, we introduce Crypto currencies and how to trade them on the Tradestation platform.Cryptocurrencies are digital or virtual tokens that use cryptography to secure their transactions and to control the creation of new units. Cryptocurrencies are decentralized, meaning they are not subject to government or financial institution control. Bitcoin, created in 2009, was the first cryptocurrency. Since then, numerous other cryptocurrencies have been created. These are often referred to as altcoins, short for alternative coins.

Tradestation offers the ability to trade cryptocurrencies on ourplatform. Currently, we offer trading of Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH). In order to start trading cryptocurrencies on Tradestation, you will need to open a Crypto account. This is a separate account from your standard Tradestation account; however, you can use the same username and password to log in.

To open a Crypto account, log into your Tradestation account and go to Accounts > Open Account > More Products > Crypto Currency Trading. Once your account is approved and funded, you will be able to trade cryptocurrencies on our platform.

How to open a Tradestation Crypto account

Only clients of Tradestation can open a Tradestation Crypto account. If you are not already a client, you will need to open an account with Tradestation first. Once you have done so, you can then open a Tradestation Crypto account from within your existing account. To do this, simply log in to your Tradestation account and navigate to the ‘Crypto’ tab. From here, you will be able to complete the process of opening a Tradestation Crypto account.

Currently, Tradestation Crypto offers trading on Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), and Ripple (XRP).

How to trade on Tradestation Crypto

If you want to trade on Tradestation Crypto, you first need to open an account with them. You can do this by going to their website and clicking on the “Open an Account” button.

Once you have opened an account, you will need to deposit some funds into it. You can do this via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or PayPal.

Once your account is funded, you can start trading! To do this, you will need to go to the “Marketplace” tab on the website and select the cryptocurrency you want to trade.

You will then need to choose whether you want to buy or sell. If you think the price of the cryptocurrency will go up, you will need to choose “Buy”. If you think the price will go down, you will need to choose “Sell”.

You will then need to enter the amount of cryptocurrency you want to trade and confirm your order. Your order will then be executed and you will have made a trade!

What fees are associated with Tradestation Crypto

-There is a 1% commission on all buy and sell orders.
-The minimum order size is $5 USD.
-A $0.25 USD fee will be assessed for each transfer of crypto from Tradestation to an external wallet.

How to withdraw funds from Tradestation Crypto

If you want to withdraw funds from your Tradestation Crypto account, you will need to follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account and go to the “Funds” page.
  2. Click on the “Withdraw” button.
  3. Enter the amount you want to withdraw and choose the currency you want to withdraw in.
  4. Click on the “Withdraw” button again to confirm your withdrawal.
